  • Reason for Application: such as "investment in China"
  • Bank Reference To be Addressed To:
    • such as "Shanghai Trade and Commerce Bureau";
    • cannot put "to whom it may concern";
  • Special Instruction: such as "issue letter in Chinese"
• Pls also remember to authorize HSBC to charge you the fee - on the section above signature box;

• Requirement :
  • Locked deposit to secure issuing credit card spending limit;
  • Minimum is HK$30,000;
  • Spending limit = locked deposit;

• Procedure :
  • Express your intention to HSBC and they can send you doc for signature:
    • To apply for credit card;
    • And to arrange locked deposit;
  • Give address and contact phone no. to HSBC to send above doc;
  • Sign and send those doc back to HSBC;
  • Confirm to HSBC about availability of money in bank a/c, and then to proceed processing signed doc;
